I already have a shower head in the bath with tube running off the twin tap system. I want to use a riser to attach to the adjacent wall but I find that buying a complete unit they state certain limitations about the type of water supply ie conventiomnal boiler, cistern supply or not. The shower heads have a number of choices, four or five settings. My supply is a cistern in the roof with about a 15-foot head. What sort of shower head can I use?

Could you please help with my problem if possible? We have a multi-point water heater, and have just fitted a new downstairs shower. Firstly, we tried a thermostatic mixer, but it kept going cold (the multipoint flames turned off), so next we added a pressure balancing valve- no improvement. Then we fitted a basic mixer shower tap, without the pressure valve. Here we found a slight improvement (it stays warm for a bit longer). It works better if we leave the sink tap on a little. We have even changed the shower rose. The upstairs mixer has always worked ok.We are totally mystified. Do you have any ideas, before we have to put in an electric shower? Thanks!

Finding a leak is the process of elimination. Perform the following tests to find leaks at your home. Make sure no water is being used inside or out, Check your toilets

Find the water shutoff valve to your home. It will be either in your front yard, in your garage, or near your water softener. Shut off this valve, which will turn off all water to your home. Turn on a faucet to make sure there is no water flowing inside the home, then check the meter. If it's still moving, the leak is most likely between the shutoff valve and the water meter.

Drywaller thinks that the cememt board should be up prior to affixing the tub box to the wall? He is concerned regarding water coming between box and into the walls. Walls have been insulated (exterior) and vapourbarriered well. What products do we used to ensure the tub box is water-proof at the seams. Will be installing tile on tub box and three surrounding walls. I have pics but don't see a way of uploading here. Please send comments.

The mixer tap on my bath has broken, it no longer diverts the water to come out of the shower head so needs to be replaced.
A plumber has been to look at it but because of the position of the tap it is awkward to reach and he was unable to get the old tap off by unscrewing the fixtures from underneath. He says it he will have to saw/grind it off above and below the bath.I'm a bit concerned about this as it's a fibreglass bath and I think it's likely the bath will end up being scratched.
Any advice please on this, does this sound a reasonable thing to do?
Thanks!

I think it is very low price to find walk in bath on the internet for less than $3000.00 as there is not any such bathroom items which can be offered in the low rates at internet or TV show. You may have contact with plumber or carpentary for exact installation and enjoy a bath!
